The South Australian Productivity Commission (SAPC), with support from TiCSA, is undertaking a review into South Australia’s tourism regulation, focusing on nature-based and agriculture-based tourism sectors. The focus of the review is on state government legislation and regulatory schemes that involve local government.
As part of the initial consultation, the Commission is seeking feedback from people who have attempted to start a new or expand a tourism-oriented business in the last five years.
This is a very valuable opportunity like no other for the tourism industry to contribute to red tape reduction and improve the overall efficiency of the regulatory process.
If you have a specific story to tell about your experience with government regulation, then please take a few minutes to complete the survey and join the process of working towards solutions for the future.
