State Budget an Adrenaline Hit to South Australia According to Premier

According to Premier Steven Marshall, the State Government’s Budget will be the single biggest adrenalin hit in the history of South Australia.

The third budget is aimed at lowering the cost on households and businesses as they recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The $4 billion spending spree is expected to create thousands of jobs over the next two years. With a focus on the State Government’s COVID-19 economic stimulus packages with the second round of grants for small business announced.

The budget also includes an $851M package for projects that provide a pipeline of building and construction works with the premier saying “we want to see shovels and ladders, hi-vis and hard hats, overalls and paint brushes right across the state.”

Treasurer Rob Lucas also announced an investment of $87.9M over two years to deliver training in partnership with the Federal Government through the Job Trainer Fund National Partnership Agreement.
