About this event
Join us for the Business SA Climate Change luncheon at the National Wine Centre of Australia, on Thursday 30 September at 12pm and hear from the Hon David Speirs MP, Minister for Environment and Water, Steph Lysaght, Consul-General of the United Kingdom and a panel of experts including Akhil Abraham, Head of Climate Diplomacy (British High Commission).
Climate change continues unabated.
In November 2021, the UK will host one of the most important environment summits to date, the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow. COP26 will bring parties together to decide on further action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. The summit will plot a pathway forward for managing climate change in our time.
New measures to tackle climate change around the globe are creating cleaner air, restoring natural habitats and arresting rising temperatures – at the same time, they’re generating new jobs, creating new industries, and unleashing new sources of economic growth.
Are you informed enough to capitalise on the growth of the low emissions economy?
Join us to explore how your business can reduce climate risk and uncover new opportunity in the low emissions economy. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to be part of the climate change discussion and take practical action back for your business.
Following the formalities enjoy an hour of networking and drinks from 2.30pm until 3.30pm.
