Kirsten Pitman
Kirsten Pitman is a highly accomplished businesswoman known for her significant impact on her local community and the hospitality industry. As Deputy Chairperson of Business Victor Harbor since 2020, she brings valuable insights to drive the organization's success. Alongside her husband Simon, Kirsten owns two acclaimed restaurants, Nino's and Loco's, catering to over 18,000 customers annually and enriching Fleurieu's culinary scene.

Mark McLaren
Mark, a lifelong Fleurieu Peninsula resident, brings 28+ years of accounting and management experience spanning various sectors. He's contributed extensively to local community groups, offering auditing services for over 27 years to the Great Southern Netball Association. Currently working as Business Manager at Wilunga Charter as well as running a management consultancy business, Mark supports Fleurieu Peninsula businesses in primary production, services, and sports sectors.

Babara Vermeulen
Babara Vermeulen, born in South Africa with Dutch heritage, has a diverse background and currently serves as a board member at Business Victor Harbor (BVH). After a year in the UK where she met her husband, she moved to New Zealand, becoming a citizen and earning a Bachelor of Health Science and Optometry Honors degree. Babara's career began at OPSM, where she developed a passion for entrepreneurship. This led her to Specsavers, where she completed their business development course, Pathway, and soon managed her own store in Victor Harbor. Under her leadership, the store achieved significant growth and recognition for clinical practice in South Australia. A mother of two, Jacob and Sophia, Babara has been recognized for her business acumen, including a nomination for the AusMumPreneur award and winning the award for Clinical Performance and growth. Her involvement in optometry advisory groups and multiple awards for Best Clinical Practice in Australia highlight her commitment and success in her field.
Colin Shearing
Colin Shearing, a fifth-generation South Australian family business owner and part-time Executive Officer at Business Victor Harbor, brings over 30 years of executive management, industry leadership, and advocacy experience. His qualifications include an MBA and diplomas in Retail Leadership and Training & Education Design & Development. With extensive connections spanning retail, hospitality, and motor trades, Colin's regional network knowledge supports local businesses effectively.
Ryan Smith
A native of Adelaide and a local of Fleurieu, Ryan brings a wealth of experience in retail, brand management, business management, marketing, and product development to his new role. This combined with his deep connection to Victor Harbor, promises dynamic leadership and a fresh perspective.
In 2019, Ryan diversified his career, earning a Diploma in Event Management, a Cert II in Live Production, and receiving the Student Excellence Award in 2020. These achievements exemplify his commitment to lifelong learning and attest to his ability to transfer skills between industries.
