Victor Harbor is a picturesque seaside holiday destination in South Australia, and in the heart of it all lies Hotel Victor, a favourite amongst locals and visitors alike.
Overlooking Encounter Bay and Granite Island, we’re only a stone’s throw from the iconic horse drawn tramway. Hotel Victor has been a pillar in the community for years.
The first stone house, Victor Harbor House, was built on this site in 1863 as a boarding home for workers in the port business. Over the years, the building was licensed and extended until 1961 when it was replaced with a fresh build that underwent refurbishments in 1992 to bring you the Hotel Victor you see today.
With a great history, comfortable accommodation, delicious food and service with a smile, we’re the perfect setting for a restful getaway, cheeky after work drink or a catch up with friends and family over a delicious meal.
Stop into Norfolk Cafe for a casual meal. We’re open everyday for light lunches, tea, coffee and cakes.
Encounter Restaurant offers seating for up to 300 people and delicious food to entice even the fussiest eaters. The friendly staff at V-Bar are serving up all your favourite drinks, from ice cold beer and cider to delicious wine and spirits.
We gladly accommodate both social and corporate events with a variety of packages to match. And if that wasn’t enough, we also offer accommodation with over 30 rooms featuring comfortable beds and all the mod cons. So come on down to Hotel Victor and soak up the friendly and relaxing atmosphere with stunning bay views.
