Business Victor Harbor (BVH) is delighted to announce the winners of the 2023 Excellence in Business Awards. The awards ceremony, sponsored by Fleurieu Community Bendigo Bank, was held at the Victor Harbor Convention Centre on Friday evening (1st December). The highly anticipated ‘black tie’ event was attended by the most outstanding local businesses from Victor Harbor and the surrounding regions.
The evening was a celebration of local business excellence, showcasing the best of the best. Lucy Langdon from 4Life Constructions was honoured with the Employee of the Year award while Karl Renn from White Lightning Electrical won the coveted Trainee/Apprentice of the Year award.
In the category of Service Industries (including Tourism), Chop It Axe Throwing emerged as the winner. 4Life Constructions also bagged the Trades Business award. The Professional, Financial and Marketing Services category saw joint winners Elders Victor Harbor and Calder Wealth Management.
Egritech Pty Ltd scooped the Agricultural and Primary Industries award, while FAFM First aid and workplace training took home the Education, Employment and Training award. See Optometry was recognised in the Health, Care and Social Assistance category.
ShedEx Fleurieu earned the Workplace Wellbeing award and Egritech Pty Ltd won the Inclusivity award. Stacked Signs was named as the New Business winner. The inaugural Greater Fleurieu Region Excellence in Business Award, or the Regional Collaborative award, was awarded to Fleurieu Sun. jaDs Hairdressers were the winners in both Sustainable Business and Business of the Year categories.
