The Department for Innovation and Skills has unlocked more support to help you grow your business with skilled people, with the JobTrainer Initiative now providing targeted financial support for businesses who employ young South Australians undertaking JobTrainer courses in priority sectors.
Applications now open for JobTrainer – Equipped for Growth transition payments
Eligible businesses can now apply for JobTrainer Equipped for Growth transition payments to receive funding of up to $2,500 when employing a JobTrainer student.
If you employ a young person (aged 17 – 24) for at least 20 hours per week, on a part-time or full-time basis, within 90 days of them completing an eligible JobTrainer course, you may be entitled to:
- $1,250 paid after three months of employment, and
- $1,250 paid after six months of employment.
